We are now pleased to offer unmanned aircraft system (UAS) Services to our clients! River Measurement (RM), a division of WEST, provides a full range of hydrologic data collection and hydrographic stream survey services necessary for development of watershed management and stream restoration plans, monitoring of environmental conditions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. RM offers a variety of new UAS-related services, including aerial river reach surveys, documentation and monitoring of environmental conditions. We are excited about this new capability and would be pleased to talk with you about how our UAS services could be of use to you.

Dr. Albert J. Clemmens, Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE, Associate and Senior Hydraulic Engineer in WEST’s Tempe, AZ office, is the recipient of the 2017 American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) Service Award. Through his outstanding contributions to the Academy, Dr. Clemmens was selected by the AAWRE Awards Committee and AAWRE Board of Trustees to receive this annual award, which was instituted in 2014 to recognize a Diplomate that exemplifies leadership and service to the AAWRE. Dr. Clemmens received his award at the Diplomate Induction Ceremony at the 2017 EWRI World Environmental & Water Resources Congress in Sacramento, CA.
Dr. Jeffrey B. Bradley, Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE, President and CEO of WEST, was awarded the Environmental and Water Resources Institute’s 2017 Arid Lands Hydraulic Engineering Award. The EWRI award committee’s selection was based upon Dr. Bradley’s engineering solutions provided in the arid U.S. and his “significant contributions during a stellar 40-year career in the areas of hydraulics, hydrology and sedimentation, especially involving debris flow effects on alluvial fan flooding and bridge scour.” Dr. Bradley received his award at the EWRI Watershed Council Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, May 24th at the Congress in Sacramento, CA.
