WEST Wins $4.9 Million USACE Contract for Hydrologic Engineering Services

WEST is pleased to announce the award of a $4.9 million, five-year Indefinite Delivery Architect-Engineer Contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Omaha District, for professional hydrologic engineering services within the USACE Northwestern Division.

PNW Partners Pass Important Milestone in Balancing Human/Environmental Needs for Reservoir Operations, Sign Columbia River System EIS Joint Record of Decision

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, and Bonneville Power Administration signed a joint Record of Decision on the Columbia River System Operations Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on September 28, 2020. The Record of Decision documents the Selected Alternative for implementation. It is the final step in the Columbia River System Operations National Environmental Policy Act process. Key to the EIS process was identification of mitigation actions to offset adverse impacts of the measures in the selected alternative. It also ensures operation of the Columbia River System consistent with its congressionally authorized purposes.
