2023 Fall Arizona Floodplain Management Association (AFMA) Conference

This year’s AFMA Fall Conference will feature CEC-earning classes and other learning opportunities, endless networking opportunities, a line-up of local and regional presentations, and a field trip to explore Santa Cruz River Heritage Project & Residential Neighborhood Improvements.
WEST Presence:
- Project Manager, Mike Gerlach, PE, will be presenting “2D Modeling Capabilities of HEC-HMS” (Wednesday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm) for 7 CECs. This short course will present the 2D modeling capabilities of HEC-HMS. Class participants will learn the steps of building and executing a watershed model through a combination of in-depth lectures and hands-on workshops.
- Senior Technical Advisor, George Sabol, PhD, PE, will be attending.
- Staff Engineer, Galen Gambino, will be attending.
