The California Water and Environmental Modeling Forum (CWEMF) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization whose mission is to increase the usefulness of models for analyzing California’s water & environment related problems.
The annual meeting includes various technical sessions, an awards ceremony, poster sessions, a social, and an annual business meeting, with the intentions of:
- Facilitating an open exchange of information on California water issues
- Resolving technical disagreements in a non-adversarial setting
- Ensuring that technical work continues to take into account the needs of stakeholders and decision makers
