The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Georgia Department of Transportation are pleased to host the 2022 National Hydraulic Engineering Conference (NHEC), August 16-19, 2022 (Tuesday – Friday), at the Historic Academy of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Themed “Advancing Hydraulic Engineering for Infrastructure Resiliency“, the eleventh biennial conference will address the challenges transportation agencies face constructing, maintaining, sustaining, and improving hydraulic structures in the present and future physical, natural, social, and economic environments. Topics of interest include stream stability, water quality, stormwater management, resiliency, climate change, scour, modeling, and related topics. In addition to presentations, the conference is anticipated to include demonstrations, field trips, and short courses for professionals. The conference is aimed at surface transportation officials including hydraulic engineers, environmental engineers, NPDES specialists, roadway designers, and other specialists in related areas.
