The National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR) plays a significant role in addressing water-related concerns by providing a platform for research, training, and collaboration at the state level. These institutes, located in colleges and universities across the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, leverage university expertise to find solutions for water management challenges, focusing on planning, conducting, or otherwise arranging competent research that fosters the entry of new research scientists into the water resources fields, the training and education of future water scientists, engineers, and technicians, and the dissemination of research results to water managers and the public.
The NIWR Annual Meeting will be held in person only and the capacity will be capped. Registration is restricted to NIWR member institutions that are in good standing.
