This hands-on 3-day workshop presented by WEST and the Floodplain Management Association (FMA) prepares water resources professionals to use the 1-dimensional (1D) steady flow HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Center River Analysis System) in real-world situations. This course is intended for people new to HEC-RAS or for those who would like to brush up on 1D steady flow analysis. Participants learn how to compute water surface profiles, analyze bridge/culvert hydraulics, and conduct floodplain studies using the steady flow capabilities of HEC-RAS.
